Shopping Cart Redesign
This project revamped the shopping cart and delivery options interface for CanadianTire’s eCommerce platform to improve user experience. It tackled key issues in the original design: unclear pricing, cumbersome delivery method switching, and information overload. The redesigned interface features larger product images, delivery options at the product level, real-time shipping and cart updates, and streamlined navigation with collapsible sections. These changes deliver a more intuitive, visually clear, and efficient experience, enabling users to make informed decisions effortlessly.

The original CanadianTire shopping cart interface had significant usability issues: unclear delivery pricing confused users, switching delivery methods was disruptive, and excessive information caused overwhelm. Additionally, poor visual hierarchy made navigating multiple delivery options challenging, leading to a frustrating checkout experience that hindered quick, confident decision-making.

"To address these issues, I identified key solutions: first, clarify pricing for each delivery option by factoring in details like order size and distance; second, simplify the process of switching delivery methods; third, reduce information overload by focusing on essential details; and finally, enhance visual hierarchy with better separation and background colors. These changes aimed to make the experience more intuitive and efficient."
